Obituary of Lorraine Vagg (ALBION)
Lorraine(Johnson)Vagg, age 79 of Northwood Drive, died 2/12/2014 in Medina Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born 3/14/1934 in Presque Isle, ME to Albert and Josephine (Beaupre) Johnson and had lived in this area since 1957. Lorraine was a member of Barre Center Presbyterian Church and had worked as a secretary for SUNY Brockport and also as a legal secretary for Church and Church Law Office in Albion. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, reading and was an excellent cook. Mrs. Vagg was predeceased by a son Gregory in 1979. She is survived by her children: Susan(Ray)Emerson of Holley, James(Lorri Snyder)Vagg of Albion, sisters: Maxine Brown of ME, Frances(Merrill)Wood of FL, 5 grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, MONDAY from 5-8 where her Funeral Service will be held TUESDAY at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Hoag Library or Holy Family Parish. Visitation
