Obituary of Louis Lynch Jr. Holley: Louis Lynch age 88, died, June 16, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Batavia, November 14, 1925 a son of the late Louis and Lena (Hayes) Lynch. Louie served his country during WWII in the US Army and was a member of the Jewell Buckman Post 529, American Legion and also served on the Honor Guard for several years. He was a graduate of Holley High School class of 1943 and a member of St. Mary's Church. He was a former employee of Hart Taylor Lincoln Mercury in Rochester. Louie was an early race car pioneer at Spencer Speedway and went on to help several local teams and also enjoyed attending Holley sporting events.
He was predeceased by his wife, Nina (Buongiorne) in 1968. He is survived by his wife, Teresa; sons, Terry (Sue) Lynch of Spencerport, Steve (Lyn) Lynch of Scottsville; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Lisa) Lynch, Jennifer (Anthony) Loria; great-granddaughter, Maya Lynch.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Rte. 31 (W. Albion Rd.) Holley Thursday from 3:00-7:00. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Church Friday at 9:00am. Interment with Military Honors will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
