Obituary of Louise C. Brooks Albion: Louise C. Brooks, 99, passed away May 7, 2018 with her loving family by her side at the Martin Linsin Hospice Residence following a long illness. She was born February 11, 1919 in Middleport, NY a daughter of the late Elton and Gertrude (Collins) Cooper and has lived in this area all of her life. She was a member of the Albion First Baptist Church. Louise shared a love for her family and friends through her baking and gardening. Mrs. Brooks was predeceased by her husbands, Reginald Harvey and Charles Avery Brooks; grandson, Paul Keeler and son-in-law James Keeler.She is survived by her children, Pat Keeler, Larry (Laura) Harvey, Pam (Jim) Smith, Ann (Mark) Warycka, Elaine (Ralph) Clute and Dale (Kathy) Brooks; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Ruth Hutchins and Jean Brooks; brother-in-law, Keith Brooks; and several nieces, nephews, cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion on FridayJune 15, from 4:00-8:00. A Celebration of Louise’s Life will be held at the Albion First Baptist Church on SaturdayJune 16, at 11:00am Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
