Obituary of Luann Caroline Genet Luann Caroline Genet (Meyers) age 59, of Newfane, entered into rest at her home on Monday, November 19, 2018. Born August 18, 1959 in Newfane, Luann is the daughter of the late: John and Beulah (Lewis) Meyers. Luann worked for General Motors of Lockport as a HVAC operator. She enjoyed spending time with her family, 4 wheeling and hunting. Surviving Luann is her lifetime partner, Steve Mock and children Richard Genet III, Kristina Genet and Ashley Mock. Sister of: Michael (Sue) Meyers, Dennis Meyers and the late Dale Meyers and John Meyers. Daughter-in-law of: Philip and Jean Mock. Sister-in-law of: Sharon Meyers, Cathrine Mock, Janet and Danny Slack, Donna Pratt, William Mock, and Ronald Mock. Luann is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Avenue, Newfane, NY from 11am until 1 pm. Funeral Services will be held immediately following at 1 pm from the funeral home. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery.
