Obituary of Lucille E. Hughson (ALBION)
Lucille E. Hughson, age 94, formerly of Oak Orchard Estates, died 10/14/2016 in The Villages of Orleans following a long illness. She was born 5/18/1922 in Albion to Charles and Inez(Behrend)Webster and was a lifetime resident of this area. Lucille was a member of the Albion First Baptist Church, enjoyed playing BINGO as well as playing cards…especially Euchre. She was a devoted caregiver for her late husband throughout his illness and was very polite, kind and appreciative for all those who cared for her while in the nursing home. Lucille was remembered by her family as the greatest Mom ever, always putting her family first. Mrs. Hughson was predeceased by her husband Edward, her granddaughter Amy Lyn, her brother Victor Webster and sister Inez Carpenter. She is survived by her sons: Chuck(Gwen)Hughson of Albion, Larry(Marlene)Hughson of Albion, her daughter: June(John)Persia of Albion, 8 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews as well as very dear friends: Jim and Carole Weatherbee. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, TUESDAY 3-5 and 7-9 where Lucille’s Funeral Service will be held WEDNESDAY at 10am. Interment in Mt. Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O.
