Lynn Cooper

Obituary of Lynn Cooper (Waterport) Lynn R. Cooper age 70 died August 21, 2014 at Strong Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was born November 28, 1943 in Roaring Springs PA, the son of the late Samuel and Marian (Morgan) Cooper and had lived in this area since 1965. Lynn owned and operated Coopers Sales and Services. He had also worked at GM for 30 years, retiring in 1994. Lynn loved drag racing, hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Cindy in 1994. He is survived by his wife Sondra of 50 years; his son James (Amy Newman) Cooper of Waterport; grandson James "JJ" Cooper of Waterport and many cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Sunday 1-4 where his Funeral Service will be held Monday at 2:30pm. Burial will be in Transit Cemetery.
