Obituary of Marc Stephen Silsby Marc Stephen Silsby, age 70, died July 12, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Annette Marie (Amedeo) Silsby, of Middleport, his son and daughter-in-law, Marc J. and Alison Silsby, also of Middleport, and his daughter and son-in-law, Daniel and Nicole (Silsby) Sandford, of Stamford, Connecticut. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Casey, Savannah, Victoria, Liam, Samantha, and Daniel. Marc was born on November 3, 1945, to his parents Stephen and Elizabeth Silsby of Gasport. A 1964 graduate of Royalton Hartland High School, Marc served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1968. He worked as a skilled tradesman in the auto industry for more than 40 years, before retiring from American Axle. Marc was a dedicated husband and father. He loved camping and NASCAR, and always enjoyed philosophical debates over a cocktail and a nice steak. He worked hard and played hard. His friends and family will always remember him as tough and fiercely loyal, and will miss his great sense of humor. Marc will be laid to rest in a private service. Friends are invited to come and celebrate his life at the home of Marc and Alison Silsby, 4360 Peet Street, Middleport, anytime between 2:00-5:00 pm, on Saturday, July 16, 2016.
