Margaret S. “Maggie” Dick, age 88, died December 7, 2022 in the Orchard Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.  She was born January 18, 1934 in Aberdeen, Scotland to Alec and Margaret (Summers) Duncan and had lived in this area since 1976.

Maggie was a member of the Albion 1st Presbyterian Church, the Albion Lodge #1006 BPO Elks, and was a hostess at McDonalds for many years.  She enjoyed golfing, crocheting but enjoyed her family most of all…in particular, her grandchildren.  Mrs. Dick was predeceased by her husband William, a son William “Billy” James Dick, and several brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her son: John “Jack” (Susan) Dick of Albion, two grandchildren: Kevin, Jeffrey (Emma) and a great grandson Atreus.

There will be no calling hours.  Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service MONDAY December 12 at 11 am at the Albion First Presbyterian Church, corner of State St. and North Main St.   Private interment at the convenience of the family will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the MS Society, 1000 Elmwood Ave #900, Rochester, NY, 14620.  Maggie’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Albion.  To share a special memory of Maggie, please visit: www.mitchellfamilyfuneralhomes.com
