Margaret Ferris

Obituary of Margaret Ferris Kent: Margaret “Peggy” Ferris, age 84, passed away on December 1, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born July 16, 1933 in Rochester to the late Walter and Alice (Ellis) Helfer. Peggy loved family cookouts, Christmas and camping at Mud Bay and Black Lake with her family. Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Eugene, three children, Carolyn Ferris, Robert (Kim) Ferris, Walter (Lori) Ferris, daughter-in-law Bonnie Ferris, five grandchildren, Tasha (Darrell) Moyer, Tonya (Adam) Ferris, Chad (Janeen) Ferris, Brandi (James) Fisher, Jonathan Depew, 10 great-grandchildren including Hunter Conner who made her life worth living, sister, Millie (John) Clack, brother, John (Shirley) Helfer, several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, on Thursday, December 7th from 3:00-7:00pm where her Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00pm.
