Obituary of Margaret Mary Hammond Margaret Mary Hammond formerly of Middleport passed away Monday December 24, 2012 in Alden, New York. Miss Hammond was born in Middleport on December 14, 1916 daughter of the late Thomas and Nellie (Mahar) Hammond. She was a homemaker and has lived in the Middleport area all of her life and she was a member of Holy Trinity Parish/St.Stephen's RC Church in Middleport. She was predeceased by two brothers and one sister Paul Hammond, Mark Hammond and Ann Hammond. She is survived by a brother Regis (Jean) Hammond of Maryland and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday, January 5, 2012 from 12PM to 1PM at the Bates,Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport where funeral services will be held at 1:00PM with the Rev. Daniel J.
