Obituary of Marilyn J. Daum (BARRE)
Marilyn J. Daum, age 82 of Oak Orchard Road, died 5/31/2013 in Absolut Care Center of Gasport following an illness of a few months. She was born 11/3/1930 in the Town of Barre and was a lifetime resident of this area. Ms. Daum was a member of the Barre Center Presbyterian Church. Marilyn worked in the kitchen of the former Arnold Gregory Memorial Hospital for many years. She was an avid reader and would spend many hours sitting on her porch reading a variety of books. She also loved to play cards, especially "500". Ms. Daum was predeceased by her niece, Deborah Postle. She is survived by her brother: Reid Daum of Barre, her nephew: Ronald(Darlene)Daum of Bloomfield, a nephew-in-law: David Postle of Albion as well as several great nieces and nephews. There will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend Marilyn's Memorial Service WEDNESDAY 6/5/13 at 3 p.m. in the Barre Center Presbyterian Church. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Mt. Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Church. Arrangements were made by Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. of Albion. Visitation
