Obituary of Marion Smith Marion J. (Depczynski) Smith age 96 died March 21, 2014. She moved to Rochester in 2007 because of her health, first to Atria of Greece and then to St. John's Home where she passed away. When in Albion, Marion was a member of St. Mary's Church, the Ladies Auxiliary, her bowling team and her beloved card club. She was an excellent cook and there was always food and drink for whenever family and friends dropped in. She was predeceased by her husband Walter; parents Rose and Frank Depczynski; brother Frank; sisters Frances Sadowski, Dorothy Button. Surviving are her son Kenneth (Patricia) Smith of Albion; daughter Beverly (Charles) Giarrizzo of Rochester; grandsons David (Mary) Giarrizzo, Steven Giarrizzo, Jeffrey (Jane Elizabeth) Giarrizzo, Jason (Keryn) Smith; great-grandsons Spencer and Nicholas Giarrizzo, Braedon and Colby Smith; great-granddaughters Taylor, Madison, Olivia and Melissa Giarrizzo. She was a loving aunt to all her nieces, nephews and a friend to many. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion Thursday March 27th 3-7pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday March 28th at 10:00am at Holy Family Parish. Burial in Mt. Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John's Foundation, 150 Highland Ave. Rochester NY 14620-3099 or Lifetime Care Hospice 3111 Winton Rd. S. Rochester NY 14623-9915. Visitation
Thursday March 27th from 3:00pm-7:00pm at the Albion Funeral Home. Services
Friday March 28th at 10:00am at Holy Family Parish. Interment
Mt. Albion Cemetery
