Marjorie T. Narburgh, age 86, died July 1, 2010 in The Villages of Orleans following a long illness. She was born in Oakfield, NY January 5, 1924 to Robert and Margaret(White)Townsend and was a lifetime resident of this area. Mrs. Narburgh, after raising her family and being out of school for over 40 years, resumed her studies and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She put her LPN degree to good use by working at the former Arnold Gregory Memorial Hospital until her retirement. Marjorie took great pleasure in her family, home, and her gardens. She also enjoyed canning, bowling, sewing, quilting, travelling with her fellow seniors and playing softball. She was a member of the West Barre United Methodist Church, the West Barre Quilt Club, The Barre Belles Softball Team, and the Senior Bowling League.
