Obituary of Mark Turner (ALBION)
Mark H. Turner, age 73 of West Lee Road, died 5/18/2013 in United Memorial Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born 7/28/1939 in Albion to Cleo and Frances(Hamilton)Turner and was a lifetime resident of this area. Mark was a member of the Barre Center Presbyterian Church, a retiree of the NYS DOT Canal System, Town of Barre Democratic Committeeman , a graduate of the Reisch American School of Auctioneering and Master of the Barre Grange. Mr. Turner was also a history buff and had a great interest and fondness for antique farm machinery. He is survived by his wife Myra, with whom he would've celebrated their 50th Anniversary on June 1 of this year. He is also survived by his children: Mary Vargas of NJ, Allen Turner of Barre, his brother: Robert(Karen)Turner of East Barre, his granddaughter: Elena as well as several nieces and nephews. There are no prior calling hours. Service and interment in West Barre Cemetery will be held privately at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. of Albion. Visitation
