Martha L. Capurso

Obituary of Martha L. Capurso Albion: Martha L. Capurso age 96, died peacefully with the Lord on January 18, 2015. She was born August 20, 1918 in Albion a daughter of the late Joseph and Raimonda Saeva. Martha was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church and a former member of the Rosary Society. She retired in 1973 from T.J. Lipton in Albion. Martha enjoyed baking, especially bread and loved cooking a great Sunday Italian dinner for all her family to enjoy.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alphonse in 2007, brother, John Saeva; sisters, Rose Sacco, Anna Grillo.
She is survived by her sons, Jack (Karen Galeano) Capurso of VA., Joseph (Nancy Kalin) Capurso of Pittsford, Alphonse (Ellen Christine) Capurso of Albion, Robert (Sally) Capurso of Bergen; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Jennie Monacelli of Albion; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue, Albion, Saturday January 31, from 9:30- 10:30am, where prayers will be said at 10:30, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church at 11:00am. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Visitation
