Obituary of Martha K. Cook Martha K. Cook of Middleport passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Medina Memorial Healthcare System.
Mrs. Cook was born in Indian Falls, NY on February 9, 1927 daughter of the late Peter and Clara (Newkirk) Klotzbach.
Mrs. Cook was employed as a secretary for BOCES for several years retiring in l992. She enjoyed her family, was a member of the United Methodist Church in Medina and the Medina Memorial Twig Association and she made 700 baby sweaters for Medina Memorial Healthcare System's Gift Shop.
She and her husband Donald R. Cook were married November 9, 1946 and he predeceased her in 2001. She was also predeceased by a daughter Diane Speciale and by her siblings Glen Klotzbach, Harry Klotzbach, Roy Klotzbach, Milton Klotzbach, Frank Klotzbach, Leah Klotzbach and Eva Silsby.
She is survived by a daughter Wendy (Loren) Fuller of Medina, four grandchildren Katie (Matt) Stewart of Ohio, Scott (Leah) Speciale of Buffalo, Kristina Fuller of Amherst and David Fuller of Watertown and one great grandchild Ella Grace Speciale.
Also surviving are her siblings Eleanor Kretter of Perry, NY., Jean (Richard) Rudolph of Akron, NY., Roger (Kay) Thurber of Basom and Ellen (Jim) Carey of Arizona and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior visitation.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church in Indian Falls, NY.
