Obituary of Mary L. Brumbaugh (ALBION)
Mary L. Brumbaugh, age 96, entered into heaven 4/1/2017 in The Village of Orleans. She was born 8/4/1920 in Brockport to Joseph and Theresa(Condoluci)D’Agostino and was a lifetime resident of this area. Mary was a faithful member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church, where she took care of the Altar Linens. She was known for her ability to bake and enjoyed making and selling breads, rolls and wedding cakes. She also received National recognition for her poetry. Mary worked hard all her life and eventually received her High School Diploma at the age of 69. In addition to her many enjoyments, one of her most favorite was a warm, sunny Summer day! Mrs. Brumbaugh was predeceased by her husband Richard Brumbaugh, her brothers: Phil and Salvatore D’Agostino, and her sister Rose D’Agostino. She is survived by her son: David J. Brumbaugh of Albion, many nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, great great nephews and nieces as well as other family members and many friends. There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service in the Chapel of St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Thursday April 6th beginning at 2 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be scheduled and announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 or to any organization that does research with Dementia or Cancer.
