Mary Jo Harding

December 31, 1969 — May 24, 2012

Obituary of Mary Jo Harding Born at the Bacon Homestead, Albion NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Napoleon and Bertha (Lee) Harding. Mary Jo grew up on the Harding farm in Gaines NY. She graduated from Albion High School in 1939. Mary Jo was a timekeeper for Eastman Kodak Company, working there 40 years and retiring in 1981. Although she enjoyed her travels, she resided on the Harding land most of her life, first on the farm and then having her own home built across the road. Mary Jo was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Albion. For years she volunteered her time at Arnold Gregory Hospital. She was a founding member of the Cobblestone Society and was active in the social club, Busy Bees. Bowling and golf were two sports Mary Jo enjoyed playing. She loved animals and bird watching and she took pride in her flower and vegetable gardens. She was the beloved Aunt Mary Jo to three generations. Mary Jo was the last Harding family member of her generation
