Obituary of Mary Jackson Albion- Mary A. Jackson (Ford), 82, went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2012 at Highland Hospital. She was born in Fitzgerald, Georgia a daughter of Elizabeth (Walker) and Dave Wimberley and has lived in this area most of her life. Mary was a member of the Royal Church of God in Christ and on the Mother's Board. She was very social person who enjoyed talking with people, enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing canning fruits and vegetables and decorating her home. Most of her career was spent helping people find employment and housing at rural NY and working at the Migrant Head Start program. She is survived by her husband of 8 years Johnnie Jackson of Albion; Former husband John Jackson; 3 children, Sheila (Johnny) Ford-Holley of Albion, Kevin (Carrie) Jackson of Batavia and Derrick (Judy) Jackson of Batavia; 12 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Dorothy Hollis, Thelma Crawford, Emma Grace Stewart and Frances (Charles) Cohens; Son-in-law, Livingston "Charles" Rolle of Albion; Uncle, Minister Dave (Carolyn) Wimbley of Buffalo; Spiritual daughters, Sis. Juanita Nelson, Sis. Cathy Lindsey, Sis. Eloisa Griffith, Sis. Burnessa Connor, Sis. Christine Leach, Sis. Carolyn Cleveland; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by first husband Robert Ford and daughter, Rhonda Ford Rolle. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 10am-12pm at the Royal Church of God in Christ, 997 Sawyer Rd. Kent, NY with the service following at 12pm. Rev. Washington will be officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
