Obituary of Mary McGaffick (ALBION)
Mary Lou McGaffick, age 76 of Linwood Avenue, died 3/6/13 in Lakeside Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born 8/18/1936 in Albion to Adam and Gertrude (Czajkowski) Levandowski and was a lifetime resident of this area. Mary Lou was a member of Holy Family Parish, the St. Mary's Rosary Society, St. Mary's Athletic Club, and volunteered countless hours for the Veterans Service Agency Transport Service. She also was a 35 year employee of New York Telephone where she worked as an operator. She liked to garden and work with flowers as well as going out to dinner and enjoying fine seafood. Aside from her love of a fine automobile, Mrs. McGaffick's greatest joy was spending time with her family as she truly made her house a home. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Robert, her sons: Terry(Sue Ann)McGaffick of Albion, Tom(Amy)McGaffick of Webster, brothers: Archie Levandowski of Williamsville, Leonard Levandowski of AZ, her sister: Gene Jozwiak of Albion, grandchildren: Kelly Sue, Katie, Kerri, Kevin, Kyle, Mark, Heather, Aaron, Nathan, her great grandson: Troy as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, WEDNESDAY 3/13 from 2-4, 7-9. Family and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial THURSDAY 3/14 at 10am in Holy Family Parish. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans. Visitation
