Mary V. "Ferrari" Samons

Obituary of Mary V. (Ferrari) Samons Holley: Mary V. Samons, 66, passed away peacefully December 28, 2019 with her loving family at her side. Mary was born October 4, 1953 in Rochester, NY a daughter of the late Frank Q. and Rose M. (Caternolo) Ferrari. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church and was a former employee of Bausch and Lomb. Mary was also a former employee of Lakeside Day Care where she was fondly known as “Miss Mary”. Mary showed her love for her family by her remarkable cooking. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Elwood; children, Michael Samons, Candace (Jeff) Robertson and Christopher Samons; grandchildren, Michael, Isabella and Russel; sisters, Sharon Morano, Nancy Caternolo and Lucille Ferrari; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 Route 31, Holley, on Wednesday January 1, from 3:00-7:00. Mary’s funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday January 2, at 11:00. Interment will follow at Mt. Albion Cemetery.
