Obituary of Michael Archie Charles (Holley)
Charles, Michael "Archie", age 85 formerly of East Albion Street, died 2/8/07 following a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. He was born February 20, 1921 in Holley to Joseph and Caroline(DiFabbio)Charles Sr. and was a lifetime resident of Holley. Archie was a United States Army Air Corp veteran of WWII serving in the Aleutian Islands. He was also a member of St. Mary's church. Having received his Masters Degree in Education from the University of New Mexico at Albuquerque he became an educator, and spent his entire career teaching in the Holley Central School System.
