Obituary of Michael D. Lisiecki Michael D. Lisiecki of Gasport passed away Wednesday morning, October 3, 2012 at the Briody Healthcare Facility.
Mr. Lisiecki was born in Buffalo, NY on February 1, 1944 son of the late Leonard A and Pauline (Pawlak) Lisiecki and he has lived most of his life in Gasport.
He graduated from Royalton-Hartland High School and the University of Buffalo and taught chemistry at Lockport High School until retiring. Also, he was a gentleman farmer in his retirement.
He was a former member and past President of the Lockport Lions Club and he was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church in Lockport.
He always donated to the Lockport Food Pantry and especially St. John's Food Pantry.
He was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law Leonard Lisiecki Jr. and Virginia Lisiecki and a nephew Brian Lisiecki.
He is survived by two daughters Kathryn A. Lisiecki of Lockport and Melissa (Robert) Henshaw of Houston Texas, two grandchildren Noah Q. Henshaw and Olivia G. Henshaw, his beloved sister Maryanna J. Lisiecki of Gasport.
Also surviving is a niece Susan Lisiecki of Gasport and one great nephew Ryan Farrell of Medina.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 Am at St. John the Baptist RC Church, Lockport, NY where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Middleport, NY.
