Obituary of Michael J. Wright (MEDINA) Michael J. Wright, age 64, died January 29, 2021 unexpectedly at his residence following a brief illness. He was born March 5, 1956 in Lockport to George and Marilyn (Slater) Wolcott and had lived in and around this area for all of his life. Michael was a Retiree from Delphi Automotive. He liked to fish, loved to go camping and enjoyed going to Batavia Downs and Seneca Niagara Casino to try his luck with the slot machines. Mr. Wright was predeceased by his brother: Claude Wright. He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Janice, his children: Michael (Danielle) Wright of AZ, Mitchell (Barb) Wright of Lyndonville, Brian (Victoria) Wright of AZ, Carey (Clayton) Drum of Syracuse, Connie (Lawrence) Brunette of Medina, his brother: Patrick (Janice) Wright of Hamburg, his sisters: Lorraine (Lynn) Garver of Middleport, Alicia (Jim) Kroetch of Rockstream, NY, his grandchildren: Koryn, Hunter, Haylee, Evan, Denver, Alexis, Hardison, Cody, Matthew, Alexandria, Colton, Russell, Amelia, Lawrence III, Raelynn, Willow, his great grandsons: William and Nathanael as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Private service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity or organization of your choice.
