Obituary of Mildred H. Cook Mildred H. Cook, age 95 formerly of Clover Hill Residence, died 6/16/2014 in Medina Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born 6/14/1919 in Kuckville to George and Elizabeth(Grimes)Hazel and was a lifetime resident of this area. Mildred was a member of the Albion 1st United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years and also served as a Sunday School Teacher. Mildred graduated from Brockport State Teachers College and taught in a 1-room school house in Millville and then in the Albion Central School System. She taught English in the Junior High School prior to retiring in 1975. Mildred was an excellent cook and could always be counted on for bringing a "dish to pass." She was predeceased by her husband Richard, in 2009. Mrs. Cook is survived by her brother, Lewis (Ann) Hazel and nephew James Hazel of Tonawanda. Step-daughters: Jean(Rob)Calder and Nancy(Mike)Knapic both of Buffalo, her step grandchildren: Robert(Cheryl)Calder, Karen(Lenny)Gregoretti, James(Lynette)Calder, Laura McCornell, Paul(Julie)DeBoth, 11 great grandchildren, 7 nieces and nephews including Richard and Deborah Cook. There are no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend Mildred's Memorial Service on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Albion First United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Carlton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. Services
