Obituary of Mildred Karene Spray Jennings Mildred Karene Jennings (Spray) age 93, of Ridgewood, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, October 1, 2012 at Eastern Niagara Hospital at Lockport. Born May 9, 1919 in Lima, Ohio, she is the daughter of the late Joseph S. and Alma (Hannah) Spray. Mildred worked as a secretary for Dade County School System in Florida. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and was active in church related activities. Mildred especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Mildred had lived in Ridgewood since 1992, previously of Miami, Florida. Dear mother of: Dr. Reverend Theodore W. (Ronna) Jennings Jr. of Chicago, IL., David Eugene Jennings of Lewisburg, PA, Dr. Carol Diane Jennings of Chicago, IL., Dr. Reverend Charles E. (Deborah) Jennings of Ridgewood and the late Saralyn Tygenhof. Grandmother of: Karene L. Tygenhof, John M. (Holly) Jennings, Michael D. (Johanna) Jennings, C. Scott (Lisa) Jennings, Richard (Michelle) Jennings and Mary (Carl) Edwards. Sister of: William Spray and the late Joseph Spray and Frances King. Mildred is also survived by 9 great grandchildren. There will be no prior visitation. A Celebration of Mildred’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 11 am from the Ridgewood Bible Church, 7073 Ridge Road, Lockport, NY 14094 with the Dr. Reverend Charles Jennings officiating.
