Nancy M. Neri

Obituary of Nancy M. Neri Albion: Nancy M. Neri age 49, passed away at her home November 22, 2016, following a valiant battle with breast cancer. Nancy was born July 20, 1967 in Medina a daughter of Edwin and the late Viola (Scholes) Knapp. Nancy owned and operated Nancy’s Hair Salon in Albion for many years and considered her customers her friends. Nancy was always full of life and love, she lived every second of her life to the fullest. She would show that love by cooking, cleaning and taking care of her family. She also enjoyed gardening, shopping, karaoke and drinking wine. Nancy cherished spending time with her grandchildren and cheering for them at their sporting events. Nancy will be remembered for her great sense of humor, her contagious smile, and a laugh that would brighten your day.
She was predeceased by her mother, Viola Knapp. Nancy is survived by her husband, Scott, of 32 years; her children, Ashley Neri, Patrick (Heather) Neri and Jessica (Michal) Kincaid all of Albion; grandchildren, Xavier, Luqman, Ethan and Mason Cornick, Easton and Everett Neri, Abigal, Leighton and Blake Kincaid; her father, Edwin (Lillian) Knapp of Horseheads; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sam (Sandra) Neri of Albion; sisters, Deborah Shuler of Batavia, Becky (Jeff) Hessel of Barker, Laurie (Ed) Bower of Holley; sisters-in-law, Lynne (Dan) Wright, Kim Neri, and Jennifer Fitzwater, all of Albion; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue, Albion, Friday November 25, from 1:00-3:00 and 6:00-9:00. Nancy’s Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home Saturday at 11:00am. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O.
