Norma J. James

Barker: Norma J. James, age 77, passed away November 7, 2024. She was born January 1, 1947 in Medina to the late Clifford and MayBelle (Burton) Cooper.

Norma enjoyed quilting, cross stitch, and tending to her gardens. She was an avid lover of all animals, especially her golden retrievers

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Douglas in 2003 and brother Kenneth Cooper.

Norma is survived by her children, Sherrie (Mike) Hillman, Jason James, and sister, Judith (late Roger) Myers.

Private interment will be held at Hartland Central Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Norma’s name may be made to any local SPCA.

Norma’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home in Middleport, NY.
