Obituary of Oscar L Cotton Medina- Reverend Oscar L. Cotton, 87, passed away peacefully at his home after a long illness. He was born in Abbeyville, Alabama a son of Freeman and Willie Bell Cotton and has lived here for the past 40 years. He was employed at Batavia Farm Equipment and Atwater Foods in Lyndonville, and also Assistant Pastored at Bethel Baptist Church in Medina. Oscar was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Rochester and enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Marion (Dent); Children, Ruby Moore, Willie Dean Brady, Mary Brady, Oscar Jr. Cotton, Donald Cotton, Renee Cotton all of Fla, Robert Cotton of Utah, and Stepdaughter Debra Harris of Medina; Numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; 2 Sisters; nieces, nephews and friends. He is also survived by Dear Friend Pastor Willie Long and Godson, Freddie Gardner of Kent. Family and Friends may call on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home 12 Ingersoll St. Albion from 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 5 at Bethel Baptist Church at 12pm. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
