Patricia "Pat" Hauer

Albion: Patricia “Pat” Hauer, 88, passed away peacefully at her home in Carlton, New York on 11 June 2022.  She was born on 26 September 1933 to Herbert and Mary Gress in Rochester, NY.  She graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School, Rochester in 1953.  Pat and her husband Joseph (pre-deceased) moved to Carlton in the late 1960s and raised their family on a small country farm.  Pat was an avid gardener, and loved to watch nature as she tended her gardens.  She was a member of the Gaines Congregational Church and Home Bureau.  She loved to bake, walk, read history, and to visit with friends and family.  She believed “everything should come from the heart.”  Pat was deeply loved and will be sadly missed.

Pat is survived by her sons Joseph (Valerie), Jason (Tracy) and Joel and daughters Jacqueline and Jennifer, as well as ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In keeping with Pat’s wishes there will be no calling hours or service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to a charity of choice.  Pat’s arrangements were entrusted to Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. of Albion.
