Patricia M. Prawel

Obituary of Patricia M. Prawel (GASPORT) Patricia M. Prawel, age 70, died unexpectedly April 27, 2019 at her residence. She was born April 15, 1949 in Medina, the daughter of Robert and Shirley (Britt) Yaxley and was a life-long resident of the area. Patricia was a faithful member of the Faith Tabernacle Church in Lockport and was a volunteer with the Reflections Ministry for over 20 years. She also volunteered extensively with CareNet Pregnancy Center. In addition to enjoying shopping and gardening, she was a very devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and helping others. Mrs. Prawel was predeceased by a sister: Judith Bias. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Albert, her 5 children: Kelly (Mark) DiMartile of Lockport, Stephanie (Adam) Schifferle of Middleport, Christian (Rebekkah) Prawel of TX, David Prawel of Lockport, Jordan Prawel of Lockport, her brother: James Yaxley of TX, her sister: Cheryl (Ed) Ayers of PA, 7 grandchildren: Nick, Jenna, Madison, Bailey, Eve, Quinn, and Maxell as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street-Gasport, WEDNESDAY 5-8 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend Patricia’s Funeral Service THURSDAY at 10 a.m. in the Faith Tabernacle Church, 5676 Beattie Avenue, Lockport. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to CareNet Pregnancy Center, 229 East Ave., Lockport, NY, 14094.
