Obituary of Paul F. Beech Reverend Paul F. Beech, age 94, died June 25, 2016 at the Hospice of Orleans Martin Linsin Residence. Paul was born November 27, 1921 in Hamilton, Ontario Canada, a son of the late Joseph E. Beech and Jessie (Frid) Beech. He had lived in the Chili area for more than 18 years, and he and his family also lived in Western and Central NY and the Southern Tier since 1952.
Paul was a member of Lake Avenue Baptist Church in Rochester. He had served as an American Baptist Pastor at the First Baptist Church in Trumansburg, the Gaines Carlton Community Church in Albion and the First Baptist Church in Newark. In addition, he had served for 16 years as an Associate Executive Minister for the American Baptist Churches of New York State.
He was predeceased by his wife Muriel in 2007, his sisters Adah Muir and Ruth Beech, and brother Murray Beech. He is survived by his wife Janice (Mann) Beech of Albion; his children Douglas (Linda) Beech of Hays, KS, Donald A. Beech of Rochester, Carolyn (Dr. Alex) Rocha of Baltimore, MD; his sister Grace (Rev. Lorne) Dorsch of Lindsay, Ontario and his sister-in-law Mary Beech of Hamilton, Ontario; grandchildren Holly, Allie, John and Emily, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Paul donated his body to the University of Rochester Medical Center. Inurnment will follow at a later time at Mt. Albion Cemetery in Albion. A memorial service in honor and celebration of his life will be held at the Lake Avenue Baptist Church, 72 Ambrose St. Rochester, NY 14608 on Saturday, July 30, at 3 pm.
