Obituary of Paul Edwin Navarra (ALBION)
Paul E. Navarra, age 57 of Eagle Harbor Road, died unexpectedly in his home 3/21/2017. He was born 3/8/1960 in Albion to Vincent J. and Rita(Caleb) Navarra and had been a life-long resident of this area. Paul was a member of Holy Family Parish, and was the owner of Navarra’s Farm Market and Greenhouses. His many affiliations include the NRA, NYS Floral Industry Association, and the FFA of which he was a long-time supporter. Paul also attended the Rochester Public Market for many years, enjoyed John Wayne movies, liked anything Disney, lived the motto, “Don’t Tread on Me” and had a great love of animals. Paul was a traditionalist in every sense of the word and ALWAYS put family first. Mr. Navarra was predeceased by his parents Vincent J. and Rita Navarra as well as a niece, Anne Mary Mrzywka. Paul was devoted to his parents while they were living and to keeping their memory alive after their deaths. He is survived by his siblings: Vincent James(Barbara)Navarra, Pamela(David)Lusk, Joan Navarra-Mrzywka, Janet Navarra-Salvatore all of Albion, 8 nieces/nephews: Kathryn, Elizabeth, Peter, Courtney, James, Amanda, Jenna, Markus and a great niece: Emma. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, FRIDAY 2-4, 7-9. Family and friends are invited to meet at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church SATURDAY 10:30 a.m. for Paul’s Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Navarra Family.
