Obituary of Paul David Neibert (Poughkeepsie/Albion) Paul David Neibert, Jr. age 79 died February 12, 2018 at Highland Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born July 30, 1938 in Poughkeepsie, NY, a son of the late Paul and Catherine (Stefnick) Neibert, Sr. and had lived there until he retired from the City of Poughkeepsie as a Fire Fighter; he then moved to Port Charlotte, FL where he lived for many years and then to Albion 2 years ago to be closer with his family. He owned and operated Mike’s Tavern in Poughkeepsie. He was a member of the Albion Fireman’s Exempt Club, the St. Mary’s Athletic Club in Albion and the Elks Lodge in FL. Paul loved classic cars especially Ford Mustangs and took pride in his cars; winning many awards at various car shows. He was an inventor with a couple patents under his belt. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia. He is survived by his daughter Lora (Thomas) Laine of Kent; his son Larry (Carol) Neibert of Albion; grandchildren Katie (Rex) Harvey, Ray (Cheryl Johnson) Laine, Michael (Savannah) Laine, David Neibert, Ashley (Jarod) Dunlap; great-granddaughter Sophia. There are no prior calling hours. His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 24th at 1:00pm at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion.
