Peter K. Collazo

Obituary of Peter K. Collazo (Albion) Peter K. Collazo born Kelly Collazo on July 22, 1949, entered into rest unexpectedly after a short illness on Friday December 13, 2019. He was a son of the late Norma Collazo and Pedro Calderone and was raised in NYC and came to this area in 1973 and has been here ever since. Peter served in the US Army during Vietnam. He was a Corrections Officer for many years and had other jobs after that. In more recent years after he retired, he spent most of his days driving around, taking shopping trips, eating out at restaurants, and hanging out with his old buddies in the mornings drinking coffee. He also enjoyed stopping at every yard sale he saw. He collected antiques and little knick knacks mostly anything to do with eagles. Peter was predeceased by his mother, Norma, father, Pedro, brothers, Robert, Roland and his sister Wendolyn. He is survived by his children, Amie (Charles) Santiago of Albion, Kelly Collazo of Kent, Pedro (Jennifer) Collazo of Cortland, NY, 12 grandchildren, Ciara, Morgan, Tia, Autumn, Steven, Davien, Lana, Baylee, Amara, Charles Jr., Aria, Johnnie, 3 great-grandchildren, Stella, Ahrianna and Alaina. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Wednesday, January 15th from 2:00-4:00pm.
