Obituary of Peter A Scalzo Medina- Peter A. Scalzo, 36, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Buffalo General Hospital. He was born in Albion, NY the son of Albert and the Late Anna Scalzo (Russo) and grew up in Medina. He attended Medina Schools was worked construction as a curb-setter. Peter was a quiet, laid back guy who was well liked and respected; always there to lend a helping hand. In his spare time he enjoyed playing poker, being a "techie", and was also a sports fan.
Along with his Father Albert (Linda Robuck) of Medina; he is survived by his love and soul mate Mary Heise; Aunt, Linda Russo of Albion; cousins and Many friends. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his baby daughter Isabella Scalzo. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 2-4, 7-9 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion. A mass of Christian burial will be on Thursday , August 1, 2013 at Holy Family Parish Church in Albion at 11am with Rev. Richard Csizmar officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials in Peter's honor may be made to the charity of choice.
