Phillip F. Ciarico age 84, passed away May 31, 2023 in the Martin Linsin Hospice Residence.
He was born August 28, 1938 in Albion, son of the late Phillip J. and Catherine (Barrett) Ciarico and had lived in this area all of his life.
Phil was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Vincent DePaul Society and Albion Council Knights of Columbus. He retired from Roy-Hart Central School where he taught Math and coached Cross Country and Track and Field.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marcia; his daughters Christine (Anthony) Cioffi, Claudia (Kevin) Conley; grandchildren Amanda (Colin) Duffy, Anthony Cioffi, Bennett Conley as well as several nieces and nephews.
Phil's family is grateful for his special friends; Christa and Larry Lutz, cousins: Karen and Marty Miller, and Father Dick Csizmar for their compassion, many visits and support which was constant during his lengthy stay in Hospice.
There will be no calling hours.
Family and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church, 106 S. Main Street, Albion, Saturday June 3rd, beginning at 10am. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Supportive Care of Orleans (Hospice), 14080 Route 31 West, Albion, NY, 14411 www.supportivecareorleans.org
