(MIDDLEPORT) Phillip Michael “Mike” McCabe, passed away peacefully July 11, 2023. He was born August 16, 1955 in Middleport to Phillip and Arlene McCabe.

After high school, Mike served the United States as a member of the Air Force serving from 1974-1977 as a Telecommunications System Specialist. In 1985, he married the love of his life; Therese Antonucci. Mike was a life member of the Middleport Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Clute Phillips American Legion Post 438, serving as Commander for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mike was also a life-long Buffalo Bills fan. Mr. McCabe was predeceased by his wife Therese in 2017, as well as his father Phillip, mother Arlene, sister Barbara, daughter Nicole and In-laws: Julius and Josephine Antonucci.

He is survived by his Brothers in Law: Gerald (Joy) Antonucci, Frank Antonucci, nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Russell) Wells of FL, Jeffery (Amanda) Antonucci of FL, Dylan (Courtney Burch) Parker of Medina, a close friend: Wendy London, his special companion “Nala” as well as several other cousins and many friends.

There will be no calling hours or services. Interment will be held privately by the family. Memorials may be made to a charity or organization of your choice.

Mike’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home of Middleport.
