Obituary of Priscilla Pfenninger (Tonawanda)
Priscilla Pfenninger, age 63 of Tonawanda, died 10/13/11 in the Hospice Center for Palliative Care in Cheektowaga. She was born 1/24/1948 in Buffalo to Allan & Helen(Truxes)Dyte and was a lifetime resident of Western New York. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Buffalo, and
volunteered at Roswell Park Memorial Hospital.
She returned to college as an adult learner and earned a BS Art and MS in Education during the 1990s, after which she had a career in Western New York schools as a substitute teacher.
Priscilla was an artist who enjoyed reading about Art History,
American History, biographies, and the classics. Her love of cooking
and baking led her to collect an extensive library of cookbooks - both
vintage and new. Her hobbies were interior design and hand embroidery. She had an eye for beauty and a flair for decorating and collecting as well as being a talented artist
