Rachel E. Prince

Holley: Rachel E. Prince, age 90, passed away peacefully at her home on January 2, 2022. She was born March 23, 1931 the oldest of 10 children, in Snyder County, PA to the late Samuel and Miriam (Hummel) Bilger.

Rachel was the first female bus driver for Brockport Central Schools when she started in 1962 and retired 31 years later. She was known for her pies, love of bingo, playing cards, crocheting and needlepoint. Rachel was a natural raving beauty throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Prince, daughter, Barbara Monacelli, granddaughter, Samantha Monacelli, 1 sister, and 5 brothers.

Rachel is survived by her children, Karen (Dennis) Keen of Mt. Morris, NY, Sharon (Michael) McInnis of Charlotte, NC, Linda Bentley of Michigan, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brothers, Merv and Randy Bilger of Texas, sister, Susie Sapp of Mississippi, life long friends, Lucy Roberts and Helen O’Brien, several nieces, and nephews. She was blessed with wonderful neighbors, family and friends.

A celebration of Rachel’s life will be announced in the spring.
