Obituary of Ralph Dixon (ALBION)
Ralph W. Dixon Jr., age 79, passed away 7/12/2013 in Rochester General Hospital. Mr. Dixon was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #35 Squadron in Albion. He drove tractor-trailer in Rochester and later in life was a greeter at the WalMart in Albion. Ralph was predeceased by his parents Ralph W. Dixon Sr., and Mary Dixon Clifford of Rochester. He is survived by his wife Marguerite(Sullivan)Dixon. They were married for 52 years. He is also survived by his children: Michael Seaver, Vicki Juckett, Donna(Ralph)Halladay, Noreen Dixon, Peter(Sue)Dixon, and Robert(Ann)Finewood. His grandchildren: Anthony Edgerly, Justin(Amanda)Dixon, Tobias and Samantha Halladay, Barry(Denine East)Juckett, Melissa(Joey)Warney, Dylan and Jordan Dixon, step-grandchildren: Stephen Fyfe and Brandi Weckler, great grandchildren: Chelsea, A.J. and Taylor Edgerly, Tyler Dixon and Layden LaViolette and a new baby due in December to Justin and Amanda. He is also survived by his special friends and family at the Albion WalMart Store. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, WEDNESDAY 5-8 p.m. where his Funeral Service will be held THURSDAY at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Mount Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family. A special thanks to COVA, Medina Ambulance, Mercy Flight, Medina Memorial Hospital, Lake Plains Dialysis of Medina, and Rochester General Hospital for their caring and compassion. Visitation
