Raymond J. DeBois, age 58 of Heritage Estates, died suddenly 10/10/2016 in Medina Memorial Hospital. He was born 2/3/1958 in Batavia to John and Janet (Fitzsimmons) DeBois and had lived in this area all of his life. Ray was a graduate of Alfred University receiving a degree in Culinary Arts. He worked as a Property Officer at the Iroquois Job Corps and when he wasn’t working, he enjoyed sharing company with his cats. Mr. DeBois was predeceased by his wife Elaine in 2013. He is survived by his son: David(Lynn)DeBois of Alabama, sisters: Jeanette DeBois of Rochester, Henrietta Bower of Corning, his grandson Craig, as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be no prior calling hours. A graveside service will be held in Millville Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
