Obituary of Raymond B. England (ALBION) Raymond B. England, Jr. age 82, died 1/27/2019 at the Buffalo Veterans Administration Medical Center following a short illness. He was born 1/8/1937 in Jersey City, NJ to Raymond (Sr.) and Domacella (Kasper) England and had lived in the Western New York area most of his life. Ray was a United States Navy Veteran as well as a Veteran of the United States Army Reserves. He was a member of the Abundant Harvest United Methodist Church in Millville, and was the owner of D’Chris Janitorial Company. Ray was a collector of Electric Trains, enjoyed playing the guitar and harmonica, in earlier years sang Tenor in the Eastman Oratorical Society and developed a patent on a window cleaning system. He was a person with a great sense of humor who had the ability to make anyone laugh. He also was a man of great faith and a person who served his Lord with passion. Ray was an avid Schwinn Bicycle collector and at one point competed as a semi-professional rider nearly making it to the Olympic trials until a bad accident ended his riding career. You may remember seeing Ray cleaning windows wearing his trademark Top Hat and Tuxedo Coat at various business throughout the area. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Carmelita, his son: Christopher David England of Akron, sister: Victoria (Larry) Tuchrello of Rush, his niece: Karen, grand niece: Brianna, grand nephew: Austin and many cousins. The family will receive friends at the Abundant Harvest United Methodist Church, 12353 Maple Ridge Road, Millville, NY, 14103 SATURDAY from 10:30-11:30 where his service will be held at 11:30. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 5488 Sheridan Drive, #300, Williamsville, NY, 14221.
