Obituary of Rebecca J. Hughson Kendall: Rebecca J. “Becky” Hughson, age 75, passed away on May 22, 2019 after a short illness at her home. She was born December 16, 1943 in Brockport to the late Harold and Eva (Dickerson) Hollink. Becky retired from the NYS Family Court System. She was an avid bowler and loved gardening and sewing. Becky loved to compete at Quoits, Bocce, cards, etc. She had a tremendous love for her family, friends, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and was a loving and caring person that was loved by everyone that encountered her. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Beatrice Suhr, sister-in-law, Joyce Hughson Cliff, and brother-in-law, William Hughson. Becky is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Rod, sons, Guy, Duane, Glenn, grandchildren, Matthew, Jordan (Kate) Stephen (Amanda), Kelsey (Tom) Eberlin, Connor Hughson, and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Route 31, Holley, NY 14470 on Wednesday, May 29th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00pm. A graveside service will be held at Beechwood Cemetery in Kendall on Thursday, May 30th at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Becky’s name may be made to Hospice of Orleans P.O. Box 489 Albion, NY 14411.
