Regina I. Golebioski

Obituary of Regina I. Golebioski (MIDDLEPORT) Regina I. Golebioski, age 90, died 5/11/2018 in the Medina Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Wing following a long illness. Regina was born 5/28/1927 in Buffalo to Francziszek Budziszewski and Wladyslawa (Madra) Budziszewski and had lived in this area most of her life. She was a member of St. Patrick’s R.C. Church in Barker, and had worked for over 15 years at Fisher-Price. She also worked for many years with her husband on the family farm. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Golebioski was predeceased by her husband John, her brothers: Henry (Thelma) Budziszewski, Thomas (Clara) Budziszewski, and sisters: Jennie (Robert) Calder, Helen (Edward) Prewentowski, and Lottie (Robert) McAvoy. She is survived by her sister: Hattie Budell Augustyniak of Amherst as well as many nieces and nephews as well as special care givers including: Jacquelyn Knight, Carol Harris, and Fred Banach. In addition she is survived by her great nephew Matthew Caldwell who was always the love of her life. The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State Street-Middleport, WEDNESDAY 4-7 p.m. Friends and family are invited to attend Regina’s Mass of Christian Burial THURSDAY 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Parish-St. Patrick’s Church, 1726 Quaker Road, Barker, NY, 14012. Interment will be in Hartland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Medina Memorial Hospital North Wing, 200 Ohio Street, Medina, NY, 14103.
