Rena A. Farino

(Holley) Rena A. Farino, age 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short illness in Batavia NY on August 16, 2024. She was born August 13, 1935, in Holley, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Antoinette (D’Andrea) Farino.

Rena is survived by her sister Judy (Farino) Emanuele; nephew Donald M. (Renee) Emanuele; niece Beth A. (Michael Lombino) Friedo; great-nephews Nicholas and Timothy Friedo of New York City, Jakob and Ty Emanuele of Chili, NY as well as several nieces and nephews.

Rena worked at Lustig Foods for several years with her longtime best friend, Betty Knight, then retired from Taylor Instruments in Rochester NY.

Rena will be remembered for her love of family and friends, and the delicious Italian food she would prepare for her family. She enjoyed watching her great-nephews when they were young, always making them laugh and bringing surprise toys with every visit.

She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the Buffalo Bills and her favorite tv show was “Dancing with the Stars”.

There are no prior calling hours. Her Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Holley NY.
