Obituary of Renee N. Hunt (ALBION) Renee N. Hunt, age 35, died 1/5/2019 in Strong Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born 3/19/1983 in Rochester to Robert and Nancy (Gugel) Spies and was a life-long resident of this area. Renee was a person who constantly was working on something and particularly enjoyed construction related projects. She enjoyed elephants, working on cars, fishing, watching wrestling, yard work and supporting the Miami Dolphins. Her greatest joy however, was her children who she loved with all her heart and soul. Mrs. Hunt was predeceased by her father Robert Spies. She is survived by fiancée David Shaw, her estranged husband Charlie Hunt, her children: Elizabeth Spies-Hunt of Albion, Brittany Spies-Hunt of Albion, Owen Hunt of Albion, Abigail Hunt of Albion, Sydney Shaw of Rochester, Mark Shaw of Rochester, Samantha Shaw of Rochester, her siblings: Lara (Christopher) Krayer of Rochester, Sarah (Benton) Cornell of Rochester, Andrew (Sandra Falcomer) Spies of Medina, Erin (Zachary) Claus of Rochester, Michelle (Matthew Webster) Spies of Albion, her grandson: Anthony, her mother: Nancy Spies of Albion, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends WEDNESDAY 1/9/2019 at the QWL Building, 3623 Washington Street, Albion from 4-8 p.m. Private service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
