Richard G. "Rich" Cadieux, age 77, died September 5, 2024 in Unity Hospital following a long illness. He was born January 5, 1947 in St. Albans, Vermont to Napoleon and Angeline (Rock) Cadieux and had lived in this area since 1984.
Rich was worked as a School Custodian at the Oakfield Alabama Central School District. He was a member of Holy Trinity Parish in Medina, the CSEA, and enjoyed fishing. He loved his animals and rescued many dogs but he mostly enjoyed spending time with his children. Mr. Cadieux was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 58 1/2 years Kathleen, his children: Rochelle Gonzalez of Batavia, Richard (Lisa) Cadieux Jr. of FL, Joel (Alicia) Cadieux of FL, Kristy (Glen) of IN, his brother: Marcel Cadieux of VT, three sisters: Lucile Ellis of VT, Simone Martin of VT, Solonge Burgeron of Plattsburg, 8 grandchildren, several great grand children, nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours and a private service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Winslow Animal Control, in care of Kristy Hayes, P.O. Box 104, Winslow, IN, 47598, Rich's arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Albion.
