Richard W. Cook, age 84 of Elmwood Avenue, died 5/20/09 in The Village of Orleans. He was born December 18, 1924 in the Town of Gaines and was a lifetime resident of this area. Mr. Cook was a United States Marine Veteran of WWII, a member of the Sheret Post American Legion,a member and Trustee of the Albion 1st United Methodist Church, Past Master and member of Albion Renovation Lodge F&AM, member of the Ismailia Shrine, the Lockport Shrine, Past President and member of the Albion Lions Club, Past President of the Eastern United Way, served on the Executive Board of the Lewiston Trail Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and was very active in the Child ID Program of the Free and Accepted Masons. Dick was also a Shriner and had a special and deep interest in many Masonic Activities.
