Obituary of Richard J. Gilman, Jr. (KENDALL) Richard “RJ” J. Gilman, Jr., age 14, died suddenly at his residence on 4/18/2018. He was born 9/12/2003 in Greensboro, NC to Richard (Sr.) and Joan(Tetreault)Gilman and had lived in this area most of his life. RJ was a 9th grade student in the Kendall Central School System where he was in the Chorus and last year was a cast member of the school musical, “Seussical the Musical”. He enjoyed fishing, video games, hanging with his cousins and collecting Pokeman, Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic The Gathering cards. RJ had a fabulous, twisted sense of humor! “RJ” was predeceased by his mother Joan Gilman. He is survived by his father: Richard Gilman, Sr., his grandparents: Art (Gloria) Gilman, Christine(the late David)Newbould, Tom (Vicky)Seiler, his aunts & uncles: Tim Gilman, Art (Christine) Gilman, Peter (Rose) Gilman, Paulette (Pam) Stockwell, Larry Divito as well as many friends including Kendall Central School students and staff members. The family will receive friends SATURDAY 4/28/2018 at the Albion 1st Baptist Church, (Park and Liberty Streets) from 2-4p.m. where his Memorial Service will be held following visitation at 4 p.m. Interment will be held privately at a later date in Sandy Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Kirch Developmental Center, 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY, 14642.
